We welcome participants from 12 weeks to 35 weeks of pregnancy. Our program is designed to support you throughout your pregnancy journey, and you'll find value no matter when you join. However, starting in your second trimester allows you to experience the full benefits of our movement practices and community support.
Not at all! Our classes are specifically designed for pregnant women of all fitness and experience levels. Our skilled instructors provide modifications for every pose and guide you safely through each practice, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced yogi.
We understand that pregnancy can be unpredictable. All yoga classes are recorded and available for 48 hours after the live session. Expert Q&A sessions are also recorded and accessible throughout the program. Plus, our community platform helps you stay connected even when you can't attend live.
Unlike drop-in classes, we offer a comprehensive approach to prenatal wellness. You'll not only receive specialized yoga instruction but also gain direct access to maternal health experts, join an intimate community of other expecting mothers, and receive ongoing support throughout your pregnancy journey. Each Bloom & Breathe session is 60 minutes long, thoughtfully structured to maximize both relaxation and connection. We begin with a gentle 10-minute check-in where you can share how you're feeling and connect with other expecting mothers. This is followed by 20 minutes of prenatal-safe movement and stretching, 20 minutes of specialized breathing techniques and meditation designed for pregnancy and labor preparation, and we close with 10 minutes of relaxation and intention setting. Every class is designed to leave you feeling grounded, empowered, and deeply connected to your growing baby.
Absolutely! Bloom & Breathe is specifically designed to support you throughout your entire pregnancy journey. Our expert instructors provide modifications for each trimester, ensuring that first-trimester participants can manage fatigue and nausea, second-trimester mothers can embrace their growing energy, and third-trimester participants have safe, comfortable options as their bodies prepare for birth. We also offer trimester-specific workshops that address the unique physical and emotional changes happening at each stage of your pregnancy.
We provide all essential equipment including yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, and blankets. All you need to bring is yourself, a water bottle, and comfortable clothing that allows for gentle movement. If you prefer to use your own mat for comfort and hygiene reasons, you're welcome to bring it. For our virtual sessions, we'll provide a simple equipment list of household items that can serve as alternatives, ensuring everyone can participate fully regardless of their setup at home.
Yes! We offer a beautiful transition into our "Bloom & Bond" postpartum program, designed specifically for new mothers in their fourth trimester and beyond. This program focuses on recovery, rebuilding core strength, managing the emotional shifts of new motherhood, and maintaining the supportive community you've built during pregnancy. Many of our Bloom & Breathe mothers continue together into this next phase, creating lasting friendships and ongoing support networks that extend well beyond pregnancy.
While Bloom & Breathe is designed to be safe and beneficial for most pregnant women, we always recommend getting clearance from your healthcare provider before starting any new wellness program during pregnancy. Certain high-risk conditions such as severe heart disease, restrictive lung disease, incompetent cervix, persistent bleeding, placenta previa after 26 weeks, or premature labor may require modifications or medical supervision. Our intake process includes a health questionnaire, and we work closely with your healthcare team to ensure the program supports your specific needs and circumstances safely.
